- Prepare for the search process by identifying the key selection criteria.
- Get all others involved to agree on those criteria.
- Prepare for each interview by creating a written list of questions in advance.
- Use a nice variety of question types... but avoid personal questions that can get you into trouble.
- Look for intangibles like integrity, emotional intelligence, others-focus, team mentality, humility, and thinking/problem solving skills.
